Raccoon mothers are amazing

Raccoon mothers are among the most attentive. Listen to the audio in these scenes along with the action. The mother is very concerned that the young one swam into the river towards the Beaver lodge area. She appears to be trying to get them to come back to safer waters. The Beaver regularly patrols the area and is very territorial. Pay attention to the last scene which shows the patrolling beaver and avoiding behavior of the raccoons who seek higher vantage on the log bridge.

Here is another scene showing how attentive Raccoon mothers are. She takes them through the tunnel again a few days later and they have already learned to navigate it more easily.
